Associate Degree in Islamic Studies Syllabus
The IUM Associate Degree Program is a two-year degree program designed to help students acquire preliminary
Islamic knowledge and equip them to pursue higher education. Twenty approved courses will qualify toward
receiving AA degree. Each course has a credit award of three credits. Tuition rates are the same as the BA program.
Goals of the program
- Equip students with all essential aspects of Islamic knowledge.
- Arm students with tools and methods of practicing Islamic knowledge in their day-to-day lives.
AA degree must earn a total of 60 credit hours. It covers the major areas in Islamic religion including
Quran and its Sciences, Prophetic Sayings and Practice, Islamic Creed, Islamic Ethics, Arabic Language.
IUM’s AA in Islamic Studies program fees are $100/course for people living in the US, Canada, Europe & South America.
Students residing in developing nations will be accorded greater leverage in the availability
