Under the guidance of Dr. Waleed E. Meneese the department provides comprehensive instruction in Aqeedah, Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, and Usool ud deen & Arabic Language. Students who graduate from this program will be equipped to serve their communities as Imams, Islamic Studies teachers, and Counselors and much more. Those who combine the degree along with another degree like Information Technology, will be better equipped to serve communities in administrative positions. Islamic Studies Faculty will offer AA, BA, MA, & PhD degrees through its Independent Studies Program, as well as live on line classes program. Additionally, people can attend live classes locally at IUM’s various branches in the US as well as abroad.
