Master's Program
Goals of the program
Students applying for MA in Islamic Studies must have completed the BA degree program from any institution. Students, who have BA in secular disciplines must take a minimum of 10 Undergraduate level courses in Islamic Studies to enter the MA program. Students may test out of these courses or attend live on line classes. Transcripts and copies of BA or BS degrees are required along with registration fee.
All MA students are expected to complete 45 semester credits via one of two available tracks.
Track 1: Completion of 15 Graduate level courses for a total of 45 credits (or)
Track 2: Completion of Ten Graduate level courses (30 Credits) and a 100 page Thesis paper (15 Credits)
